How To Link PAN Card with Aadhaar Online?

Step by Step Guide

You can link your PAN to your Aadhaar by doing the following:

Step 1:

Launch the income tax e-filing website.

Step 2:

(If you haven't already) sign up on it. Your user ID will be your PAN (Permanent Account Number).

Step 3:

Enter your User ID, password, and DOB to log in.

Step 4:

You will be prompted to link your PAN and Aadhaar in a pop-up window. If not, click 'Link Aadhaar' under 'Profile Settings' in the menu bar.

Step 5:

Name, DOB, and gender will already be provided according to PAN information.

Step 6:

Compare the PAN information displayed on the screen to the information on your Aadhaar. Please keep in mind that if there is a discrepancy, you must get it fixed in both documents.

Step 7:

Enter your Aadhaar number and press the "link now" button if the information is accurate.

Step 8:

Your Aadhaar and PAN have been successfully linked, according to a pop-up notice.
